Adobe during its event Adobe MAX 2018 has announced the release of the new versions of its photographic software: Photoshop CC 2019 (version 20.0), Lightroom CC 8.0 (the web version), and Lightroom Classic CC 8.0 (the desktop version).

During the famous yearly fair Photokina held in Germany a lot of new products have been announced.
We are listing hereafter all the most interesting announcements that have been done during this event: the new cameras including Zeiss and Panasonic mirrorless models (September 2018 is the month of the mirrorless rush started with Canon and Nikon!), a lot of new lenses from many vendors and some photo software updates.

After Nikon announcement of its entering the full-frame mirrorless segment (our in depth article available at this link), it's Canon time that couldn't stand by the window and see photographers move to Sony. Yesterday Canon has announced the new RF mount and the first full-frame mirrorless, the EOS R, that will have to face competition with the new Nikon Z6 and current comparable Sony model that is the highly regarded A7III.

Yesterday Nikon has presented its first two full-frame mirrorless cameras, also to fight switch of photographers to Sony, that recently with its full frame cameras of A7 and A9 series is increasing its market share - this month Sony shared the news that it is now the first full-frame cameras brand in the United States. Today Nikon, after many rumors, has finally confirmed it is working on a new mirrorless system, with a new lens mount (a big one).

Everybody is waiting for Canon for a similar announcement, Nikon and Canon cannot remain still with increasing popularity of Sony full-frame system.
