[Tested on MFT variant]
This is an excellent optic that produces images with excellent sharpness, low distortion and low CA. Also, what makes this lens especially interesting is the low price of around £330, which is £170 less than the closest equivalent. - Lens Tip
[Tested on Fuji variant]
Korean Samyang shows the 2/12 model, with better parameters than those of renowned optics producers (like Zeiss or Fujifilm), fully able to compete with its more reputable rivals on equal terms. The Samyang 12 mm f/2.0 NCS CS of course can’t be called a flawless lens; still you can forgive a lot a trailblazer. If you take into account its very sensible price you would be hard pressed not to recommend it. - Dustin Abbott
[Tested on Canon variant]
This lens is (at least to me) one of the most exciting options available in the EF-M mount. [...] It has a very nice build quality, well-functioning manual controls, and has exceptional image quality even wide open. It’s a great focal length, has great color rendition, and is a lot of fun to use. [...] It’s greatest asset is a fully usable f/2 aperture that is 2+ stops faster than the Canon zoom.
