Sony A mount
The A-mount was originally introduced by Minolta in 1985, the world first integrated autofocus system for an interchangeable camera. In 2005 a joint venture with Sony expanded the adoption of this mount, one year later Sony acquired the all the photo/imaging sector from Konica Minolta.
The A-mount supports both full frame and APS-C size sensor cameras.
In April 2019 Sony discontinued this mount focusing on the new E-mount.
