Fuji Photo Film was founded with the purpose of producing photographic film. In the 1940s it began expanding its portfolio with optical glasses and lenses; after the Second World War it diversified in several markets (printing, X-ray diagnostic, electronic images, magnetic materials). It later moved to the digital photography, also producing cameras.
